Personally, I don’t mind the beach life at all. The sun on my face, cool breeze through my hair, sound of waves and umbrella cocktails. I don’t think there are many things in life that can beat a nice day spent lazing around at the beach. But this is just me.

I’m aware that for many out there beach life can get pretty boring sometimes. Itchy feet can’t just stand the beach. The unbearable heat, the sand stuck to your skin, the sweat… What a nightmare! Who wants to do that?

For those of you who can’t stay still for an hour under the sun, Asian beaches offer some incredible activities that you won’t forget easily.

Dive in Phi Phi island, Thailand

Snorkeling and scuba diving are pretty common in Southeast Asia. And how could it be any different? With a sensationally various wildlife and breathtaking views, diving has never been as fun as when it’s done here.

One of the favorite spots is the Thai island of Phi Phi. Here you will find dramatic limestone walls decorated with healthy soft corals, colorful walls and coral gardens where all manner of marine life frolic among the soft corals and sponges.

This island and the one surrounding have some of the greatest surf beaches in Asia, with beach breaks for beginners and huge barrels for the pro’s.

And that’s probably what makes Bali so great. Doesn’t matter if you’re a first timer or if you were born on a board, Bali has got some spectacular waves to offer everybody. As the sunset approaches the horizon, you can see lines of young Balinese men approaching the beach on their surfboards, controlling them with the same gracefulness as in their traditional dances, mastering the waves and penetrating the tubes.
